I’m not sure how I got onto handguns. It might have had something to do with sex and the great outdoors. Supermarket trolleys. And insomnia. But anyway…

I used to have a thing about gunships. Don’t ask me why; I just wanted one. A bit like guns. They both enthral and terrify me. And they usually come with a list of technical specifications, which I like. Someone put a lot of thought into designing something bigger and better than anything that’s gone before; it’s sole purpose to extinguish the creative energy in someone else. It’s just a big waste of time.

*The most powerful revolver is actually the Pfeifer Zelika .600 Nitro Express, but it’s not a production model. And will cost you about £13,000.
